Some of the Chinese accounts impersonate fervent Trump fans, including one on X that purported to be “a father, husband and son” who was “MAGA all the way! !” The accounts mocked Mr. Biden’s age and shared fake images of him in a prison jumpsuit, or claimed that Mr. Biden was a Satanist pedophile while promoting Mr. Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan. A new source for newsFor the Biden campaign, joining the social media site presents the possibility for modest rewards but also high risks. “The campaign is now on TikTok because frankly that’s where people are,” Biden campaign spokesperson Seth Schuster said in a statement to CNN. Those concerns have kept the White House off the app and may have delayed the Biden campaign’s decision to join. “It’s a meaningful signal that the Biden campaign acknowledges the power that young voters will have in November and prioritizes engagement with us,” said Jack Lobel, the national press secretary for Voters of Tomorrow. “This technique would’ve been successful, in my opinion, if he actually listened to young voters,” said.

☆ Three reasons Biden’s problems appear to be overblown

But while Biden clearly has problems – no president with an approval rating hovering around 40% is in good shape – some of his issues appear to be overblown at this time. It is worth analyzing whether the fact that a lot of Democrats don’t think Biden should be renominated masks a larger problem he could face in a general election. But Biden’s pulling in more than 90% of Democrats in Fox News and Quinnipiac University general election polling released this past week. The fact is Biden’s got problems, but worrying about renomination is not one of them. Most voters think Biden did something inappropriate related to his son’s business dealings.
